"Time is of the essence", an old-age
adage that might prove true for opportunistic and strategic politicians months
prior the 2013 elections.
Media ads that flood the
television and radio stations, billboards and posters that pop up everywhere,
so on and so forth. What’s new? These are all the things we expect for future
political aspirants, not to mention that elections are fast
approaching.
Calamities are the vying
politician's favorite because in this particular undertaking, they are able to
get the chance to solicit votes from the victims through providing them their
necessities. Maybe not all of us are aware of this, but I know most of us are,
and I'm pretty sure that many people have noticed. This kind of campaign can be
observed during, or after, the recent typhoon that had ruined Davao del Norte,
specifically in Compostella Valley and the rest of Davao City. Politicians all
over the affected areas have spread and had given their financial support
directly to the victims with a promise that they will not be taken for granted.
This 2013 election, let us all see where this promises would lead to.
GREAT JOB!
